Hi Fam!
We arrived in Wambana at 12.00pm today! Once we got here we wee shown around the area and then put into Wardli's. My Wardli is with zara, catherine, julia, georgia, sophie and madeline. Although two cabins are mixed up and the other two are quite mutual with friends I feel like I am going to become closer with the people in my Wardli! I am excited for the next 3 weeks and am looking forward to exploring the wambana community! Missing you a lot but I feel that these next 3 weeks will fly by and I will be home soon!
I hope angus is going well with his leg!

WEEK 1:
week 1 was a bit of a challenge as we weren't sure what we were heading into. We were put into wardli's and set off to foodland to plan the shopping for the week. On thursday we went to Inis to help out with the community service by pulling out weeds and picking up rubbish along the beach. That night we went on a wallaby walk and camped out in tents, I was with Zara. The next day we continued helping out and then we travelled back to wambana for pizza night.

WEEK 2:
Week 2 we finally settled in and were slowly developing into young women. Snorkelling was amazing as it was something I wasn't used to and had never done before. I saw many things while under the sea but was most interested in the big starfish eating an abalone, it was fascinating. But my favourite place to visit so far has been the aboriginal school in Port Pierce. The children there ranged from ages 4 - 5 and were adorable. All they wanted was for someone to interact and play with as they didn't get much of this at home. It was great to know that we were important to them. I met a girl called Olivia, she was very cute.

Our 3 weeks has flown by and finally come to an end which I am quite sad about. I have enjoyed my time on realise thoroughly and have learnt several lessons in life that I will use for the future. I now know how to wash my hair and body in the shower in 2mins and 30seconds which I think is an achievement as I used to have 15minute showers! I have also become a wiz at mopping and sweeping the floors which will come in handy for mum and dad! I have also learnt things about people that I never would have known. The people in my wardli are all lovely and even though zara and I were put into the most difficult wardli as we didn't really know any of the girls, we ended up gaining new friendships. I have also loved getting to know the teachers, julia is really cool with her dredlocks! I am very sad but I hope that the next two realise groups to come down enjoy the three weeks as much as I did!
